A New Era, Here Without Warnings?
An era of drought. Thats right this is not a one off Heatwave, this is an SHTF. This is the era of civilisation collapse. Anthropogenic, abrupt, rapid and irreversible climate change causing flash flooding, Severe storms, heatwaves & severe drought. This is not just a human tragedy, this is an ecological tragedy, wildlife are as much at risk. 
Global Flash flooding, landslides, & mud & tree trunk Lahars with cars mixed in, driven by heavy rains have forced their way through texas, Tibetan & Nepali Towns. Killing hundreds, often without warning.

Pluvial precipitation, ain so heavy it changes landscapes, & washes crops out of fields. The New Era is one of Climate & ecological collapse. A hard truth even environmentalist will neither face nor talk about. This is why we #talkcollapse

Adaptation & Mitigation
Mitigating climate change and adapting to its effects are two equally urgent tasks. While mitigation looks at reducing heat-trapping greenhouse gas emissions to meet our global climate targets, climate adaptation aims to enhance the resilience of ecosystems and protect communities from the effects of climate change.

We are failing dismally at both adaptation & mitigation

Conspiracy theories about "weather weapons" from preppers and other far right groups as well as climate denial are a hinderance to action and mitigation. If you refuse to see risk, why bother prepping unless its just another grift.

Uk Agriculture Facing multiple challenges
UK agriculture in 2025 faces a confluence of challenges, including extreme weather, labor shortages (Brexit), and policy changes (Brexit), impacting both production and profitability. A warm and dry spring has created concerns about harvest yields, while rising input costs and labor shortages are adding to the strain on farmers.

A significant lack of available labor, particularly for seasonal work, is hindering productivity across various sectors of agriculture. (Brexit)

The Labour shortages primarily pushed by the Far Right complaint about jobs being taken, but then not taking up the vacancies created.

Spring of 2025 was the driest on record since 1893, causing stress on crops and potentially impacting harvest yields.

Changes in government support programs, such as the pause on new applications for the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), are adding to the uncertainty and financial pressure on farmers. Brexit cut all EU subsidies for farmers.

Analysis suggests that the 2025 harvest could be severely impacted by the dry spring, with potential for near-record low yields.

XReadiness Has All The Potential Of Teaching The Skills Of Nature Connection

A deeper connection with nature can be achieved through learning wilderness survival skills from skilled practitioners. XReadiness  document recommends learning to become adept at making fire. I agree, but I am surprised at the lack of detail, in this short paragraph. In the 1st instance, I don't have a tumble dryer, so there is no dryer lint. In building my survival skillset, I have developed a method for processing plants to see if they meet the standards for being used as tinder for a flint and steel or ferro-rod. If plant material can accept high and low-grade sparks, then it can be lit with a lighter. "FiRE-MAKiNG & ALTERNATiVE HEATiNG METHODS Knowing how to make fire safely and efficiently is critical for heat, cooking, and morale.
